Lotto

Club lotteries have been a regular part of fundraising efforts at sports clubs in Ireland for decades and Clubforce (as locallotto.ie) became the online home of club and society lotteries over 10 years ago. The Clubforce system allows clubs to sell lottery tickets online to club members at home and abroad. Members can enter multiple draws at once and receive automated emails with lottery results and club news.

This online lottery service is included as part of the club’s overall subscription to Clubforce and can be run in-tandem with offline lottery or run exclusively online.

More information on your club lottery including lottery results will be displayed at a later date.

U14 and U16 hurling and football awards

In congratulating the U16 hurlers winners of the Shield Competition and all trophy winners An Cathaoirleach Ciaran Crilly told players that winning is not the be all and end all of playing our native games. Town meet the Ford in the Championship

What a start to the senior championship with the town drawn against auld enemies the ford. It’s sure to set pulses racing in both parishes in the build up to the Championship and there will be a brave bit of banter between both sides before a ball is kicked. Annual Golf Classic

The weather held out for a change to make the annual Golf Classic on Friday 5th March at the Royal County Down a most successfull and enjoyable event. Member’s Night Easter Monday

A member’s night will be held in the Clubrooms on Easter Monday Night. Music buffet and complimentary drinks to show The Executive Committee’s appreciation for all the voluntary work carried out by members in past 12 monthes particularly last year’s Festival, Golf, 600 Draw, coaching, management of teams, bingo and all the other Club chores we sometimes take for granted.
