A thrilling game of football on Monday evening in Furbo as the Barna u14 Girls faced Monivea in the first round of the championship. Barna raced into an strong lead only to be pegged back to be level at half time. Then Monivea hit a purple patch and led by 8 points only for the Barna girls to fight back for a draw. Barna 6-6, Monivea 5-9. Well done girls- the big crowd at the game had a treat watching this one!
