We played Milltown on Saturday in the Senior League and it ended all square 0-11 each we trailed by a point at the break its our second draw in the League after losing our first game and our next game is in Cregg against Caltra fixed for next Monday (check fixtures page)  Team was: Padraic Mannion, Shane Collier, Adrian Fitzpatrick, Benny Newell, Brian Qualter(1pt), Paul Creaven, Anthony Pender, Kevin Keane, Wesley Fallon, Damien Burke(2 frees), Niall Coleman(2pts), Morgan Duggan(2pts), Frankie Burke(3pts – 2frees), Brendan Dooley(1pt) and Alan Kavanagh.
 
We played two games in the Junior C Hurling championship last week on Wednesday we beat Ballindereen by 2-18 to 1-11 having lead at the break by 2-5 to 0-6 after playing with the breeze in the first half . The team was Padjoe Fahy, John O’Neill, Eoin Murtagh, Marc Connaughton(0-1), Reggie Burke, Carl Leonard, John King, Christy Burke(0-2), Paul Walsh, Rob Mulryan(0-1), Pa Murphy, Aidan Joyce(0-1), John King(1-0), Ciaran O’Connor(1-8,), Ronnie Newell(0-2). Subs used: John Conway, Joe Qualter, Graham Hession (0-1), Aidan Connaughton (0-2) and Bernard O’Brien
 
In our other game we beat Ballygar by 3.9 to 1.6 after playing with the breeze in the opening half we build up a solid lead at the break and to run out winners by nine points, the team was: Team was: Padjoe Fahy, Eoin Murtagh, Kenny Leonard, Marc Connaughton, Reggie Burke, Carl Leonard, John King, Thomas Burke(Capt.), Paul Walsh(1pt), Aidan Joyce, Pa Murphy, Rob Mulryan, Ciaran O’Connor(1-5,), Christy Burke(1 goal) and Ronnie Newell(1-3). Subs used: Aidan Connaughton, Fergus Fahy, Michael Donnellan, Joe Qualter and John King .
 
Our under 16 Football training resumes on Tuesday evening next Aug 7th at 6.30 in the pitch and any player not available is asked to contact the manager
 
This weeks lotto winning numbers were 8, 17, 18 & 27  and the produced no jackpot winner, There were three match threes; Niall Canavan Carraghy, Aisling Small Parke and Pauline and Ciara Duggan C/O M Duggan. Clarkes Corrandulla won the promoters prize and next weeks jackpot is €7750 with the draw in the Club House on Monday night Aug 6 th
 
The club monthly meeting is on next Wednesday night at 9 pm in Cregg and all are welcome.
 
Our hurling summer camp takes place from Tuesday August 7th to Friday August 10th in Cregg. Camp starts at 10.00am each day and runs until 3.00pm. Cost is €60 for the first child, €50 for the second child and € 40 for subsequent child. Each child receives a full set of O’ Neills socks, togs, jersey, back and water bottle which are produced in the Ireland International Rules style.
