The weather held out for a change to make the annual Golf Classic on Friday 5th March at the Royal County Down a most successfull and enjoyable event. Thank to Kevin sweeney and his organising committee of Ollie Doyle, PJ Maquire, Tom McAtamney and Mickey Hawkins not forgetting Brian Doyle, Mickey Keown, Charlie don’t forget to mention me Harper and Dessie Devlin for their help on the day. Thanks also to the Royal and Mourne Golf Clubs without whose co-operation the event would not have been possible.
