Another successful golf classic

We held our Golf Classic in Nenagh Golf Club on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd August 2012.

We received great support. We had 40 teams and 70 tee boxes and a most enjoyable day was had by all. The winners were:

1.       John McCormack’s team comprised of Mick Kennedy, PJ Carey, Barry Leddin and Mike Miller

2.       Michael Ryan’s team

3.       Kevin Kennedy team of Murray’s Bar, Upperchurch

4.       Tom Berkerys team

5.       Andy Carr’s Team

The proceeds from our previous Classics have helped to carry out major refurbishment and developments to our playing field, flood-lighting the main pitch, car park development, construction of the new stand and also the recent development of our new Club house.

The proceeds of this upcoming classic will again go towards the new clubhouse which has now been completed. We also plan to continue with some further development over the coming year.

Intermediate Hurling

Our final group game takes place on Saturday 11^th August in Dundrum at 7pm against Rockwell Rovers.

Junior Hurling

Our rescheduled group game against Eire Óg Annacarthy takes place on Sunday 12^th August in Kilcommon at 7pm.

Munster U21 Hurling final

Best wishes to Tipperary U21 in upcoming Munster Final against Clare.
