Aughawillan GAA Club Notes 14/02/08
Lotto Draw:

The fortnightly Lotto Draw was held in the Bobby Joe’s on Saturday night January 12th. The jackpot was €5000. The numbers drawn were 2, 11, 16, 27. There was no Jackpot winner. The winners of €20 prizes were: Kathryn McTague, Ballinamore. A.McGoohan, 6 Pairc Fea -Ballinamore. Pauline Darcy, Aughawillan. Ceila Smyth, Ardunsagan. Eddie Fleming, Ballinleenan. Mark Fee, Drumreilly. Peter Curran, Derradda – Ballinamore. The next draw takes place in two weeks on Saturday night January 26th in The Poor Scholar. The new Jackpot is €5100.



 



CountyBoard Dinnerdance:



Congratulations to the three young men; Shane, Morgan and Pat who received their awards on Saturday Night. We also had Maeve, Sarah, Mary, Sinead, Catherine, Eimear and Claire received their All-Ireland medals on the night. Well done to all involved.



 



Christmas Draw Presentation:



 



Presentations of the winning Cheques were made to; 1st.Teresa Johnston.    2nd. David Mc Cabe and 3rd. Eirian Curruthbrs in the Ballymac Inn on



Friday night 11th January. Congratulations to all the winners and a special thanks to the finance committee and all the sponsors and ticket sellers in the club for all their hard work in making the draw a success. The club would also like to thank the Viking lounge and the Ballymac for their support on both nights.



 



Club Membership:





A reminder to everyone that club membership for the coming year is



due. Adult membership is €20 and U18 membership is €5. Payment can be



Made to the club register Mickey Flanagan or his assistant Patrick Prior. Payment from players will be collected at the first training session.





Cultural Officer:





At A recent executive meeting there were a number of appointments



made and Donal Quinn has been appointed Cultural officer Coordinator.



This role involves finding acts to participate in Scor Na nOg and also finding people to help with practice and coordinating preparation for events and competitions. Anyone who wishes to take part in Scor or who is willing to offer a hand please contact Donal.
