Heart to Hand: We are holding our usual Lenten Food Collection again this year. The need for food is greater than ever. We are appealing for Soup (Packet or Tin) next weekend. Collection boxes will be in the church porches in Ballina and Boher.

County Intermediate league: Ballina started their first round of the county league last Sunday playing Ballinahinch in ideal hurling conditions. Ballina won 1/17 to 13 points. In the second round of the league Ballina will play Moyne/templetouhy away on Saturday March 9th.[see fixtures] Raheny club from Dublin visited our club last Saturday for a challenge game which proved to be a highly contested game. Thanks to the Raheny club for the challenge and a sporting game.
