Friday Church Services in Ballina: After 10am Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed until 5pm. Prayer of the Church and Benediction at 1.05pm. Why not come along and pray awhile.

Ballina Parish Hall: Work is practically complete on the Parish Hall which has been rewired and installed with gas heating. The bathrooms are going to be tiled and painted and the exterior was painted this summer.

Boher Parish Hall: Zumba will return to the Hall on Monday, November 19th at 7pm. Hourly rate is €7 and reservations can be made with Sarah on 087 76543162.

Recently Baptized: We welcome into God’s family, Oscar Christopher McKeogh, 2 Palm Grove Drive, son of Stephen and Mira who was baptized recently.

Recently Deceased: We remember in our prayers the soul of Pat O’Brien, Ryninch whose funeral took place in Ballina Church on Tuesday morning. May he rest in peace.

Sympathy: The GAA club would like to extend its sympathy to the O’Brien family, Ryninch on the death of Pat O Brien. Ar dheis de gur raibh a anam dilis.

Quiz: ‘The big question’! This is a fundraising Quiz night and will be held in O’ Donovan’s bar on Friday next, November 23rd with all the proceeds shared between Crumlin’s Children’s Hospital and The Ballina Juvenile GAA Club. Tables of 4 people will take part in the quiz which should provide plenty of
entertainment along the way. There will be plenty of spot prizes during the night and the winning
team could be in with a chance to go to the Big Apple – New York!!. Cost per entry is €10 per person
and there are still tables available. Teams or individuals can come along on the night. For more details contact Fergus Breen – organiser of the event.
