Friday Church Services in Ballina: After 10am Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed until 5pm. Prayer of the Church and Benediction at 1.05pm. Why not come along and pray awhile.

Knock Festival for Young People: The Summer Festival is a one day event taking place on July 28th. It is for all young people between the ages of 17-30. On this day, young people will come together in a faith setting and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. They will explore, ignite and celebrate their faith. The event will have interactive talks, prayer, testimonies from young people as well as drama and music. More details on the Parish Noticeboards.

Congratulations: Well done to Mike Breen and Stephen O Brien who played vital roles in Tipperary’s
victory in the Munster minor hurling final in Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday last and completing the double for the County in the Minor championship.

Junior Hurlers: Our Junior Hurlers drew with the Silvermines in Kilcolman last Saturday evening. Ballina were leading by 0-10 to 0-5 at the Interval but the Mines made a big comeback in the second half dominating in most sectors. The game finished 0-13 each.

Ballina GAA Family Event: On Friday July 20th, Ballina GAA Club will host a Mid-Summer BBQ at the GAA Complex from 7pm to 9pm. This is a social evening for family and friends and will be a chance to celebrate the recently acquired land secured by the club. There will be music, food and plenty of fun, so do come along and enjoy the evening. The annual Summer Camp is been held this week. Best of luck
