Friday Church Services in Ballina:   After 10am Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed until 5pm.  Prayer of the Church and Benediction at 1.05pm.  Why not come along and pray awhile with us especially in this holy season of Advent? 

Recently Baptized:   We welcome into God’s family: Elliott Martin O’Donoghue, Grange, son of Barry and Kathryn: Samuel Patrick Crowley, 57 Cnoc Ard, son of Michael and Aileen: Brendan Thomas Ryan, Shoreside, son of Padraig and Sarah: Justin Christy Collins, Ballyea South, son of Fergus and Nicola: all who were baptized recently.

Parish Carol Service:    This special liturgy will take place in Ballina Church on Sunday, December 18th at 6pm.  All are welcome.

Firewood Auction: This Auction will be held in the GAA Complex at 2pm next Saturday.   You can bid on any or all of the many trailers of timber on the day.  The range will be, as usual, from small car trailers to large tractor trailers.   It will also be possible to purchase bags of firewood.   Tickets will be on sale for a large trailer of prime split ash at €2 each or 3 for €5.  The draw for this will take place Monday night after the Lotto Draw. 

Congratulations: Congratulations to Michael Hayes who was elected Chairman of the North Tipperary Referee’s Association last week.   The club wishes him the best of luck in his new role.

Dates to remember: The Club A.G.M. will be held on Friday, January 13th at 8pm.   Nomination forms will be available shortly.  On St Stephen’s day a charity 4 mile walk will take place starting at the GAA Complex at11am.
