First Holy Communion:   The children in Boher Primary School will receive First Holy Communion on Sunday next at 10.30am.  Thanks to all concerned who have assisted in the preparation of the children for the reception of their First Holy Communion.

Friday Chruch Services in Ballina:   After 10am Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed until 5pm.  Prayer of the Church and Benediction at 1.05pm.  Why not come along and pray awhile with us?

Phones for Defibrillator:   Sincerest thanks to all who have given an old mobile phone in our endeavour to secure a defibrillator for our area.  We need about 80 more phones.  Could we appeal to you to make a final search in your homes for an unused mobile phone which we can forward to the Jack and Jill Foundation and secure this life saving device for our community.

Tipp- Clare Match:  Stand tickets for the Munster semi-final will be distributed  on Tuesday, June 14th at  9.00pm in the Complex.  If interested in acquiring a ticket, please ring club secretary, John Gleeson as soon as possible.

Junior A Hurling:   The Junior A hurlers are out next weekend against Borrisoleigh in the championship.   The Intermediate team had a useful workout against Ballybricken from Limerick on the Bank holiday Monday.   Training continues on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 8.00pm.

Congratulations:  Congratulations to the Power and the Neill families,  Ard Coillte after the newly opened Pairc Eamonn de Paor in Tallow Co Waterford.  This field is called after Ned Power the legendary Waterford goalie of the late fifties and early sixties.   Ned was father of Eamon Power, P.R.O. of our Juvenile club.
