Intermediate Hurling: The Intermediate Hurlers are out next weekend when they clash with near neighbours, Ballinahinch in the County League.  Like all local clashes, this should be an exciting affair.   The Junior A’s suffered their second defeat in the North Tipperary League when they were defeated by a strong Moneygal team last Sunday evening.  They were level with 0-8 each at half time but Ballina conceded 3 goals in the second half meaning Moneygal were comprehensive winners at the final whistle. The Minor Footballers had a good victory on Friday evening when they overcame Lorrha in the first round of  the Minor championship.  They had 4 points to spare at the end of a very competitive game.

Scrap Metal:  Do you have any scrap metal clogging up your garden or back yard?  Ballina GAA club, in association with Hegarty Metals, are arranging another Metal Collection.  Items such as old farm machinery, engines, axels, old steel gates or any other such items which may be around the farm or garden will  be taken. Contact Secretary, John Gleeson for further details.
