Congratulations: Well done to Stephen O Brien and the Tipperary Minor Football on their magnificent
victory in the All Ireland Final, the first since 1934. We also wish him, and the Ballina Minor Football team the best of luck as they contest the North Final against Lorrha on Wednesday evening. The game will be played in Puckane, under lights, and has an 8.00pm throw in.
Intermediate Hurlers: Unfortunately, the Intermediate team made their exit from the championship after a single point defeat to Newport in the North semi-final in Cloughjordan last Saturday afternoon. They gave a spirited display and were unlucky to be pipped at the post. The club would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in preparing this team during the year. Our attention now turns to the Intermediate Football team who are due to play Shannon Rovers on Friday evening.
