Sympathy:  Ballina GAA  club would like to sympathise with the Cosgrove family,  Boher on the death of Mattie Cosgrove who had a lifetime association with the club.   Having played as a juvenile, he became a selector during the eighties and ninties at all levels with the Juvenile club.   He was also a selector with our Junior Footballers  who captured the County Final in 2002. He was Treasurer of the Juvenile club between 1993-1997, a post he served with great diligence. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam dilis.

Tidy Towns:   Tidy Town’s adjudicators Reports which was recently published gave special mention to the Ballina GAA entrance.   Improvement works carried out here helped in the 9 point increase for Ballina since the 2010 competition.  Thanks to our FAS workers who help keep the site in pristine condition and ecco friendly.
