Benildus College has distributed Application forms for the Barry O’Brien Scholarship Award 2010. These will be made available for download from the club website, at http://naomholaf.ie, for anyone interested in applying. The closing date for applications is March 31st.
The Barry O’Brien Scholarship Award, valued at 2000 Euro, is awarded annually and is sponsored by the College in memory of our former pupil and teacher, Barry, who drowned accidentally in August 2002.
The current recipient is International Chess Player Sam Osborne.
