November 8, 2018

Annual General Meeting.

The AGM for 2009 will take place on this Thursday night December 10th at 8pm in the Clubrooms at Pairc na Bride. This meeting will review the year just gone and make plans for 2010. The AGM is the opportunity for all Club members to express their opinions on the fortunes of the club in it’s many aspects. The Officer Board for 2010 will be put in place at the AGM, membership fees will be decided and other business pertaining to the coming season will be discussed.

The AGM is open to all Members and even if you are not a current Member but want to become one please come along on Thursday night.

County Minor Hurling League Final.

At the time of writing the County Minor Hurling League Final is down for decision on Sunday next at 12 noon. No venue has been fixed. Our opponents are the Ballinora/Dripsey combination Setanta. They are drawing players from two club areas and therefore will be a very strong side. With several weeks we had been trying to get our semi final game against Dromtarriffe fixed and then last week they conceded a walkover to us. It’s not the best route to a County Final but it’s not of our making. Our lads have training away since they defeated Sars in the East Cork Play  off.

We reached the Co Championship Final last year but lost heavily to a West Cork Combination side so this Final gives us a chance to win honours at Co Level. Go for it lads.
