Bride Rovers GAA Club notes & news round-up for the week.

November 8, 2018

Well Done Girls.

Our Intermediate Ladies Football team did the Club and Parish proud last Sunday. Though defeated by the home team in Stabannon Co. Louth the team put up a brave display before losing by a margin of just three points. This team have given so many marvellous all through the year and deserve every credit for capturing County and Munster honours. All who attended the game on Sunday last were delighted to see such support for the team, the Rovers supporters far outnumbered the home fans. From Bartlemy, Rathcormac and Kildinan they travelled in huge numbers. Of course the girls were disappointed at not reaching the All Ireland Final but they have had a brilliant season. Well done to Nora and Irene and all the Club Officers and everyone who helped in any way.
