U12 Football

Bride Rovers 9-4 Fr O’Neills 0-0

Our U12 continued their winning form last Saturday when they played Fr O’Neills in their second league game. We had a number of U10’s involved in this team and it was encouraging to see such a great display. Our back line Mark, Jack and Shane were solid allowing no ball through to our goaly John. Our half back line Beneoin, Shane O’Connor and Brian were working the ball forward at every opportunity. Leon and Jordan Service at midfield were playing well delivering great ball to our forwards who were in flying form with Eoin scoring 2-1 and Adam scoring 1-0 in the first half.

We continued the second half in the same form with the remainder of our forwards scoring Jessie getting in for a goal, Eoin and Conleth getting a point each, Dylan 2-0, Adam 2-0 and Jordan Mannix 1-0. John moved out of goal and scored 0-1. Overall it was a great performance and a well deserved win on the day.

Team: John O’Sullivan, Mark Connolly, Jack O’Connor, Shane O’Flynn, Benin Whitemarsh, Shane O’Connor, Brian Roche, Leon O’Flynn, Jordan Service, Jessie O’Keeffe, Dylan Browne, Conleth Ryan, Eoin Roche, Adam O’Sullivan and Jordan Mannix.
