Bride Rovers Ladies Football & Camogie Club notes.

November 8, 2018

Intercounty

Congratulations to Grace Culloty and Emma Barry who were recently selected on the Cork U14 ladies football panel for 2013. Grace was also honoured with the captaincy of the football team and led out the side in their opening Munster championship match against Kerry in the CIT last Monday, March 18th. Cork won this first round easily but there are sure to be tougher tests ahead. Grace is also involved with the Cork U14 Camogie group and indeed captained a Cork team against Tipperary in a challenge game on Saturday, March 16th. Bride Rovers Ladies Football and Camogie club would like to congratulate both Grace and Emma for their achievements and wish them the very best for the season.

Post-Primary

The very best of luck from Bride Rovers to everyone involved with Loreto Fermoy in the Senior A All-Ireland final against Presentation Athenry Wednesday, March 20th, at Nenagh. Throw-in is at 12:30pm.

This is the biggest game of the schools season and everyone is hoping that the panel can take this final step and bring back the cup.

This weekend was a blank one for the Rovers on the playing front, but fixtures will resume very shortly for ladies footballers in the following grades : U14s, U16s, Juniors and Seniors.
