Bride Rovers Ladies Football & Camogie Club notes.

November 8, 2018

Bride Rovers Ladies Football and Camogie Club held their medal presentations for 2012 at club sponsors O’Coileains Bar last Friday night, January 11th. An enjoyable night was had by all who attended.

Medals were presented to our County Championship winning camogie panel, to our East Cork championship winning Junior footballers and to our senior footballers who were runners-up in the county league.

Presentations were also made to those players who represented us on various Cork teams throughout the year. One of these presentations was of course to Grace Kearney who leaves us shortly for Australia. Grace has been one of the most outstanding players in the history of the club, a tremendous example to all our young players and it goes without saying that she will be missed very badly, on the pitch and off of it. We wish her the very best in Australia while hoping she will pull on the Bride Rovers jersey again at some stage in the future.

Well done to everyone from Bride Rovers involved with Loreto Fermoy senior and junior A panels who both qualified for Munster Colleges finals during the week. These are Jennifer Barry, Jennifer Cahill, Trish O’Sullivan, Katie Connor, Aine Cashman, Karen Sheehan, Claire Murphy, Laura Quirke, Madison Parle, Grace Culloty and mentor James Ahern.
