Junior Camogie

A league game is provisionally set for Tuesday, June 7 in Rathcormac.

Camogie training continues every Wednesday evening at 7pm. It’s hoped to expand the panel of players so all newcomers are more than welcome.

Gaelic for Mothers

Training continues once a week with this group. Contact Irene on 0876548928 if interested in joining. The next blitz is on Saturday June 4th in Ballinacurra.

Our U14 footballers accepted an invitation to the mini-Feile hosted by Erins Own on Saturday, May 28th. Even though our numbers were low, the girls enjoyed the outing and put in good performances.

Tuesday, May 24th, East Cork U12 Ladies Football League

Lisgoold 0-3           Bride Rovers 3-4    

Bride Rovers U12s returned to winning ways at Lisgoold on Tuesday evening, May 24th. This game was closer than the scoreline might suggest but our backs worked very hard to ensure that Lisgoold shots for goal were taken under pressure and we kept their score-count down as a result.

Friday, May 27th, East Cork U12 Ladies Football League

Youghal 1-1            Bride Rovers 8-5      

Bride Rovers U12s rounded off the group section of their 2011 league campaign with a convincing win at Youghal. The first half was tight with only a couple of scores between the teams at half-time, but the Rovers scoring rate increased in the second half.

U10 Ladies Football and Camogie

Bride Rovers 10goals 3pts Midleton 2goals 1pt

 On Thursday 26th of may we played Midleton in our under 10 football league , we lost the toss and  played against a strong breeze in the first half our girls were on fire and we were well ahead at the half time whistle. Compared to our last game we lined out with a full squad and each of them played a big part in the game . On  monday 30th May we travelled to Shanagarry to play St Colmans in the under10 football league. Once again we loss the toss and played against a breeze , Katie got us off to a good start but St colmans came back at us very strong, it was tit for tat in the first half and the score at half time was level peging, our girls seem to be unsure of them self in the first half but after a litttle chat at half time came out a complete different team for the second half .keep it going girls. U8 training continues in Pynes every Friday night at 6:30pm. This has proved to be very popular so far and everyone is welcome.
