U13/14 Football

Glanmire 7-5 Bride Rovers 2-10
Last Thursday, 16th August, our U13/14 girls played Glanmire in their second Summer League match of the year. It was a close match in the first half with the Rovers working hard against a strong Glanmire side and getting some good scores. The girls played well and by half time Glanmire were ahead by only four points. In the second half our forwards were in hard luck, hitting the crossbar on several occasions and we conceded some late goals which gave the scoreline an unbalanced look. However, our girls never gave up and kept going until the final whistle. The match ended with a final score of 7-5 to 2-10 in Glanmire’s favour.
