Liam Mellows GAA Club is delighted to announce Burkeway Constructions continued sponsorship of the clubs Senior and Junior hurling teams for the coming year.

Liam Mellows GAA Club is most grateful to Burkeway Construction and Company Directors, Michael & Diane Burke, for their generous sponsorship. Michael has been a lifelong supporter of Liam Mellows GAA Club, also contributing generously to the club’s highly successful annual corporate fundraiser, ‘the Galway City, Heart of Hurling Race Day’, being held this year in Ballybrit on September 10^th. 

With a successful track record in the construction industry, Burkeway Construction have raised the standards in the construction industry by developing some high profile projects both in Galway and beyond.  The recently completed Centrepoint development in Liosban Industrial Park, comprising retail and housing units, is a mark of the company’s professionalism.

Liam Mellows Senior Club are currently playing in the Shannon Oaks Galway Senior Hurling Championship, with a strong team including such county players as David Collins, Aonghus Callanan and John Lee.  After qualifying third in their group, their next outing will be in September when they playoff to secure a place in the county quarter final.
