Clocha Rinnce 0-07 v Two Mile House 0-10
Senior League Div 3, Sat 10th May 2008.
On a warm Summers evening The Clochs lost this ‘end to end’ game by 3 points against a much fancied Two Mile House Team.
Again missing a number of first team players for various reasons ,The Clochs were playing catch-up for most of the game , however with Ciaran Gravin`s 2 frees and 1 ’45’ they went in at half time level at 3 points each .
Both sides atarted the second half with 14 players , due to an altercation at the end of the first half.
The loss of Personnel seemed to effect the Clochs more than the visitors as Two Mile House were never to be headed in the second half and eventually won by 3 points .
Despite the loss ,Clocha Rinnce played well throughout the field and showed alot of grit and determination .
The standard of Clocha Rinnces play was confirmed by the obvious delight and relief displayed by Two Mile House at having held on for the victory at the end.
