A great win for the  AFL3 footballers this week who bear Na Fianna 3-12 to 3-9 in an enthralling match played in the Bogies. This really sets the lads up for a good run at winning the league next season as I believe we have lost only 1 match in the last 6 in the league. Well done to Joe and the lads.

Minors were playing Judes in Championship but at time of writing no result in. don’t forget www.hill16.ie has results, fixtures and league tables.

See Evening Herald on Tuesday or Hill16.ie for further up dates.

Notice’s:

And Finally

Joke of the week

Why are you yelling that?

A painting contractor was speaking with a woman about her job.

In the first room, she said she would like a pale blue.

The contractor wrote this down and went to the window, opened it, and yelled out ‘green side up!’

In the second room, she told the painter she would like it painted in a soft yellow.

He wrote this on his pad, walked to the window, opened it, and yelled ‘green side up!’

The lady was somewhat curious, but she said nothing.

In the third room, she said she would like it painted a warm rose colour.

The painter wrote this down, walked to the window, opened it and yelled ‘green side up!’

The lady then asked him, ‘Why do you keep yelling ‘green side up’?’

‘I’m sorry,’ came the reply. ‘But I have a crew of blondes laying grass across the street.
