Big Night for the senior hurlers this Tuesday the 20th . They play K/Crokes in the Semi Final of the Inter Championship in Clanna Gaels pitch in Ringsend under Lights @ 7.30 pm.  The winners going on to play Round Towers in the Final. A big turnout of supporters  is expected to cheer the lads on so get out your colours and COME ON THE BARRS.

Juvenile Committee would like to thank Eirn Óg for their hospitality to our under 10 squad. They were well looked after on their trip and we look forward to returning their welcome.

The Juvenile AGM is to be held on 9th November and all reports are to be returned to juvenile secretary ASAP.

 

The Clubs AGM is also to be held end of November, date to be finalized and Mentors are reminded that their reports on their teams must be sent in by 18th to be sure to be included.

 

The Club would like to extend their sympathy to  May Sweetman  and Eileen Farrell on their recent death in their Family’s. Mays Father sadly passed away and Eileen lost a nephew in a car accident.

 

Halloween:

On Saturday 31st The Club is holding a fundraising Fancy Dress with music by Smack The Monkey.

There will be Prizes for

Best Dressed Male

Best Dressed Female

Best Dressed Couple.

There will also be a raffle with lots of spots

Tickets only €5 and available from reception 8686209 or Wayne Dempsey.

 

On Thursday 29th Oct There will be A fancy dress party from 6-8pm for 7 to 11 year old with prize for the best costume

This will be followed by a Juvenile Disco for 12 to 15 year old tickets €5  see Seamus McGrattan for tickets and further details.

The club website www.naomhfionnbarra.ie now has a link ti the Capital D programme which featured the club in it programme about 2 weeks ago. Have a look and pass the word arount it was a great profile on the club and all we do in the area.
