MINORS

The Minors (O’Raghallaigh Gaels) will play in the Division One Minor Championship Final in Kingspan Breffni Park on Sunday at 2pm.  They will face Cavan Gaels as they try and secure a league and championship double.  This game will be the curtain raiser to the Ballinagh v Cavan Gaels Senior Semi-Final.  A good days football can be expected so if you can head up to Breffni, please make the trip to support the side.

 
JUNIORS

The Juniors followed the lead of the Minors as they also made it through to the Championship Final.  A 2-16 to 1-6 victory over Ballinagh in Virginia last Wednesday evening secured their place in the Junior B Final. They will now face Killygarry in the Final in Virginia on Saturday 17th September @ 4pm as they look to secure their first Junior B since 2002.

 
LADIES

Best of Luck to the Cavan Ladies who will play Westmeath in the All-Ireland Intermediate Football Final in Croke Park on Sunday 25th September.  The Club is looking into running a bus to the game so if any adults or kids are interested can you please put your name down with Pat Faulkner or Pat Farrelly ASAP.

 
On the local scene, the U-14 Girls playing Knockbride this evening (Monday) ahead of the Quarter Final of their Championship this Saturday, but I don’t have any more details at the moment.
 
ALL-IRELAND FINAL TICKET DRAW

The Juvenile Club’s annual fundraiser is upon us again with the usual fantastic 1st prize of two tickets to the All-Ireland Football Final along with Dinner and overnight accommodation in the Regency Hotel  and €200 spending money.  Plenty of runner up prizes also.  Tickets are just €10 and are available from all committee members as well as on www.kingscourtstars.ie .Please support the great work of the juvenile club if you can and purchase a tickets or two.  Those blitzes don’t run themselves you know…..

 
CLUB MERCHANDISE

The club is delighted to announce that a new batch of club merchandise are now directly from the club at little more than cost price.  The options include replica jerseys, polo shirts, winter jackets, training tops and rain jackets.  Images of all the gear are already up on www.kingscourtstars.ie and the option to buy online should be available shortly.

 
Sizes will range from 2yrs +  with prices varying depending on size but as said they will practically be sold at cost price.  You can get a look at the range of products on the website, at Senior home matches or Sunday juvenile training and each team has been given a colour sheet showing all the gear.  Alternatively you can ring Niall on 086 8237382.
 
LOTTO

The winning numbers in last week’s lotto were 06, 08, 12 & 25 (Bonus 17). There was no Jackpot winner but the two Match 3’s ( Clíona Malone and Bridie & Neil McCabe) won €100 each. Next week’s jackpot will be €8,400 and the draw will take place on Sunday 11th September in Malones.
