SENIORS & JUNIORS

The Seniors & Juniors both opened their seasons with a rewarding trip to Mullagh on Sunday to face Cuchullainns. First up were the Seniors, who gained a 3-9 to 1-6 victory, thanks to a super second half hat-trick by full forward, Ryan McCormack.  The Juniors then followed up with an impressive 2-13 to 0-3 start to the season.

Next up is another double header down the Park next Sunday against Drumlane at 2pm & 3.30pm. At the moment, the Juniors are meant to be the first match, but naturally enough, that could well change! So after you’ve taken your Mammy out for dinner, for not take a trip down the hill and watch the games, I’m sure she will love it……

U-21’S

Well done to the Cavan U-21’s who beat Donegal in the Ulster Championship on Wednesday night and are now into the Ulster Final for the second year in a row. The final is fixed for Wednesday 13th April although venue & opponents are not yet known. Senior Players, Shane Gray, Barry Reilly, Colm Smith & Barry Tully all feature on the panel so if you can make it to the final next month, please try and go and support the lads and the county as they continue to give Cavan GAA a well overdue boost.
