SENIORS

The Seniors final two league games before the championship have been provisionally set.  We host Mullhoran @ 8pm on Wed 14th July before making a shjort trip to Mullagh on Saturday 17th July to play Cuchullains @ 7pm, a week before we play them in the championship.

However, hopefully these will be called off due to Cavan’s continuing involvement in the All-Ireland. Best of Luck to Alan Clarke and all of the Cavan side in their David v Goliath tie against Cork this weekend.  After last week’s Lazurus comeback maybe they can keep the biblical theme going…

JUNIORS

The Juniors relegation was all but sealed last week after their 2-11 to 1-8 home defeat to Ballyconnell 1st Ulsters.  However hope still remains and that means gaining a victory from their last league match which is away to Arva on Sun 11th July @ 6pm.

All that aside the focus will turn to the Junior B Championship where we have bee ndrawn at home to Gowna in the opening round on Wed 4th August @ 8pm with the winner away to Cuchullains or Ramor on the following Wednesday in the quarter final.

MINORS

The Minors will be starting back up as they prepare for their Championship match away to St. Finbarrs on Mon 2nd August.

On a related note, hard luck to James Farrelly & Joe Dillon who were both on the Cavan Minor Panel who were narrowly defeated by Armagh in the Ulster Semi Final last Sunday evening.

UNDERAGE

The 16s are the first to enter Chmapionship this weekend when they face a trip to Drung to face St. Finbarrs at 8pm on Friday evening.

The 13s will be looking to continue their winning ways when they host Castlerahan @ 8pm on Thursday evening.

LOTTO

There was no winner in this week’s Lotto but Gerry Sheridan, Noel Murtagh, Ciara Gargan, Paul Gartlan & Patricia Long all won €40 for Match 3.  The winning numbers were 03, 07, 15 & 17 (Bonus 05).  Next week’s jackpot will be €10,600 (€15,600 including the bonus) and the draw will be in Dun a Ri House on Sunday 11th July.

FANTASY FOOTBALL

After the Ulster Semi Final and the 1st round of the qualifiers there was big moves in the fantasy football table with the jinx of the leader dropping away continuing.  This time Pat Faulkner was hit the top again, but just a point ahead of Seanie Farrelly with Joe McCarthy leading the chasing pack.  For the full listing please click here.
