FRIDAY FIGHT NIGHT

Tickets are still available for the Cavan Senior Panel for the fundraising fight night in The Imperial Hotel on Friday 11th December. Club Captain, Alan Clarke will be among those lining up for battle, in proceeds going to the very worthwhile causes of the Baby Max Wings of Love Charity & The Kelvin Brady Treatment Fund.

This unique fundraiser promises to be a great night entertainment and as the sole Kingscourt representative it’s hoped there will be a large and noisy crowd on the night to support Alan. Anyone interested in going can obtain tickets directly from Alan or in the usual sub-committee HQ of Pat Faulkner’s shop….

THE WONDERFUL WORLDWIDE WEB

As you will probably be aware the re-launched website has proved very popular over the past seven months. With over 60 different matches from all grades from 2009 alone, as well as historic pieces and galleries of over 1,000 pictures.

However, given the obvious lull in new detail over the coming months we still want to keep you logging on. As such, every week on the site, when the “limited club news” is posted, part of it will contain some links to some of the best sports related clips on the internet, starting here.

Yeah, it’s not quite GAA, but hey hopefully ye’ll like it and it will keep ye entertained over the winter months.  Any suggestions for additions (or even deletions!) can be left on the comment section.

Another addition to look out for will be the option of paying your club membership online.  This feature will be available later this month, so keep your eyes peeled onto www.kingscourtstars.ie for all the latest developments.
