SENIORS

The Seniors played out an exciting 1-8 to 0-11 draw with Ballinagh at the weekend in their senior championship relegation play-off.  As such, both sides will have to do it all again with the game taking place in Lavey at 2pm Saturday. A report on the game will be on www.kingscourtstars.ie shortly.

U-14

The U-14 Championship started on Thursday 27th August and we are competing in Division Two. A great opening victory against Cuchullains has set up a home semi final against Killygarry on 3rd September 2009 at 6.30pm.  As this is the same Killygarry who last month won the All-Ireland Feile title, this will be a big ask of the side but a similar performance as last week will give them every chance

U-13’s

The 13’s league match away to Cavan Gaels on Monday (31st) was postponed due to the weather.  They are due to finish of things with a home game against Ramor Utd on the 7th.

JUVENILE DRAW

The Juvenile Club’s annual draw takes place on 11th September with plenty of cash prizes up for grabs.  1st prize is two tickets for the All-Ireland Football Final along with B&B and Evening Meal in Jury’s Croke Park Hotel and €200 spending money.  A super prize and well worth buying a ticket or two for and as it’s the juvenile clubs only fundraiser, it’s a cause well worth supporting too. Tickets for available from all committee members and in plenty of shops in the town.
