SENIORS

A fantastic, battling performance from Kingscourt finally overcome an impressive Lacken side by 1-11 to 1-9 in the first round of the Senior Football Championship in Virginia on Sunday afternoon.  A coolly taken Mark McKeown goal midways through the second half brought Kingscourt back level and they powered through Lacken in the final quarter for a well deserved two point victory.

A great result for the side and one that sets them up well for the remainder of the campaign.  For further details on the result and pictures from the match, please log onto www.kingscourtstars.ie.
