HURLING

Indoor hurling training has recently started in the Community Centre on Saturday afternoons.  Their are two sessions on the day, 4p-5pm for under 9’s and under 12’s for 10-12 yr olds.  The sessions are for both boys and girls. All equipment is provided and new members are most welcome.  The Club would also appreciate the assistance of any parents/adults who would be interested in volunteering to coach or supervise.

JUVENILE AGM

The Juvenile AGM has been re-scheduled for Tuesday 24th February at 8pm in the Club Pavilion.  All members are requested to attend.  The Club is planning to form an  Ladies Club with the intention of fielding an U-12 team this year.  This will be discussed at the meeting and we would ask any parent’s who would like to contribute to the running of the club to also attend. New members are most welcome.

U-14 FEILE

The U-14 Feile team returned from the West on Sunday after their visit to Salthill/Knocknacarra.  A good weekend was had by all, culminating in the high-scoring Galway/Dublin match in Pearse Stadium. So far, there has been no gossip forthcoming with the “What goes on tour, stays on tour” code remaining strong, but if that breaks in the coming weeks, we’ll let ye know!!
