SENIORS:

A disappointing defeat to Lacken in Virginia on Sunday by 1-8 to 0-6 means relegation to Division 2 for the first time in over 30 years.  There canbe no complaints as Lacken were deserved winners and our poor start to the season is where the seeds of relegation were sown. A full report will be posted on the website shortly

However a poor display on the day was most disappointing, especially considered the level of performance in recent months.  That said, the league table doesn’t lie and we will have to take encouragement from Killygarry who last year were unluckily relegated but have made the jump back at the first attempt, but the players will be under no illusions of the difficulty that awaits them

U-21’s

On Tuesday (13th ), the U-21’s finally enter the fray with a tricky tie against Lurgan under lights in Kingscourt.  In an effort to get over the disappointment of senior relegation a good turnout, both on and off the pitch, is called for.
