CROTTA HURLING CLUB A.G.M
The Crotta Hurling Club Annual General Meeting was held in St. Columbas Centre, Kilflynn on Friday 11th  February, before a large crowd. Paud Twomey Chairman presided. The games and club events of the past year were reviewed, by Club secretary, Mark Hussey, and a comprehensive financial report from Treasurer John Mahony, both presented very detailed and excellent reports. Bord Na Og Chairman Sonny Egan gave an report of all the Bord Na Og Club’s Activities during 2010. Outgoing chairman Paud Twomey did not seek re-election and all praise to him for his hard work over a number of years, also Other officers who did not seek re-election were Secretary Mark Hussey, Treasurer John Mahony and Registrar Paul O’Donoghue  Thanks to outgoing officers for their work during their terms in office and best of luck to the new officers in 2011

Insurance Officer: Pat Culhane The position of Senior Team Trainer, Senior Selectors, U-21 Trainer/Selectors, Junior Trainer and Selectors, Minor Trainer and Selectors and Scor officer will be appointed at the next Club’s Executives Committee meeting.
ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
Kilflynn St. Patrick’s Day Parade meeting will be held on Thursday 24th February  in St. Columbas Centre, Kilflynn at 9.00 p.m. All Musicians, Organisations, School Kids Parents are requested to attend this meeting. Due to the success of last years parade it is vital people attend and give their support and a little help in organizing events. All Ideas welcome. Please attend this meeting.
CROTTA COISTE NA NOG
The Crotta hurling’ Coiste na nÓg will hold their Annual Church gate collection, this Saturday 19th and Saturday 20th February at masses in St . Mary’s Church, Kilflynn. Please support .

KERRY HURLERS:
The Kerry Senior Hurlers  commence their Allianz Hurling League Div 2, 2011 campaign at Austin Stacks Park Tralee on Sunday 13th February and were defeated by Antrim 1-15 to 0-12 The Crotta Hurling club was represented by Andrew Keane at corner back and Shane Nolan at corner forward
CAUSEWAY WIN MUNSTER TITLE:
Well done to Causeway Comprehensive School  on winning the Munster 16 Hurling Title last week defeating Kinsale in Mallow and are out again next Saturday versus Lougrea of Galway,
HURLING WORKSHOP:
Coach Education Hurling Workshop next Wednesday night 16th February in the Astro-Turf pitch in Tralee IT (North Campus) @ 6.45pm sharp.
Niall Moran, Limerick Hurler and Coach to Harty Cup Champions Ard Scoil Ris will carry out the workshop and will focus on ‘drills that are game related’.
Niall has built a reputation as an excellent coach and the workshop will be well worth coming to..Cost is €5 and I look forward to seeing you on the night.
It will particularly benefit U14 to Senior Coaches but all coaches will get something from it From John Griffin Hurling Coach

MUNSTER BADMINTON:
Kerry had a hugely successful day at the Munster Seniors and Juniors Championships recently, Kilflynn Santos player Tom Burke (Kingdom) retained his senior singles title & Ciara O’Connor (Dingle) won the Junior Ladies. Congratulations  Tom.
