FIXTURES:
Crotta u-12 hurlers play St Brendans in The Michael Reidy Memorial U12 Hurling Championship Final  in Lixnaw on Saturday 25th September at 4.00 p.m. and the Crotta Junior hurlers contest the County league Division 3 final with St Brendan?s also on Saturday  at 5.00 p.m. in Abbeydorney. Best of luck to both Crotta teams.  
On Sunday 26th September  a double bill in Austin Stack Park when the AIB County Senior Hurling Semi Finals take place : Ballyduff play St Brendan?s at 2.00pm,  Kilmoyley play Lixnaw at 3.30pm

CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS:
The four numbers picked out of the drum by Independent Observer, Mike Cronin, Irrebeg, Lixnaw, for this week’s Lotto Jackpot of ?12,800, on Monday night, 20th  September in Herbert?s Bar, Kilflynn were: 6,14, 19 and 27. However no one came up with the correct combination of numbers and the Jackpot survived for another week. The Lucky dip prizes winner each receives ?35: David Moloney,Cappa, Kilflynn, Brandon Conway, Ballyrehan, Lixnaw and Joe Brennan, Knocknacaska, Kilflynn.  The three lucky dips tickets were bought in Parker?s Pub. MEATH COUNTY HURLING FINAL:
Former Crotta Senior hurler David Brady and his Kildalkey team mates qualify for the
Meath Senior Hurling Championship final 2010. The Defending Jubilee Cup champions Kildalkey eased their way into another  final at Pairc Tailteann on Saturday 18th September with a 1-13 to 1-7 over a gallant side Trim side. Kildalkey had the advantage of the breeze and the driving rain in the first-half, but it was only after the break that they got serious as they disposed of Trim. Kildalkey were ahead by 0-6 to 0-4 at the interval and found the net through Dan Fagan after the break. David Brady had good game at wing forward for the Kildalkey who now face Kilmessan in the final who overcame Kiltale by 2-10 to 1-04.

CUMANN NA MBUNSCOL
Kilflynn National School got off to a winning start in Cuman na mbunscoil football on Friday 17th September. They played in Ballyheigue against Bouleenshare. Leading at half time by 2-06 to 0-02 following first half goals from Dominic Nolan and Darragh O’Donoghue they ran out comfortable winners in the end. CROTTA U-12
Our U12 hurlers reached the U12 County championship Final by defeating Lixnaw in Ballyheigue recently. It was a great overall team performance and it is great to see the lads back in the Championship final. Crotta built up an eleven point lead at half time having held Lixnaw scoreless. The final score was Crotta 2-06 Lixnaw 1-04. Colin Browne and Barry Mahony were outstanding and received great help from Cathal Kennelly Darragh Kennelly and Tom Quinlan. Dylan McElligott Sean O’Donoghue Paudie Dillon John Quilter Jack McKenna got through an amount of work. Both teams and referee John Ross deserve great credit as the weather conditions were very poor. Thanks to the Ballyheigue G.A.A Club and especially Pat Corridon for making the field available and having everything in order. Scorers for Crotta: Barry Mahony(1-04)Cathal Kennelly Capt(1-01)Sean O’Donoghue(0-01). The final is fixed for this Saturday in Lixnaw at 4pm. Our opponents are Ardfert. Best of luck to the lads.
We wish Jack Glavin a speedy recovery following his recent stay in hospital. Hope to see him back training with his U12 colleagues soon.
KILFLYNN COURSING CLUB:
Its that time of year again, which sees the coursing being held on the land of Paudie Fuller in Fahavane on Sunday and Monday, 26th and 27th of Sept. The main stake run over the two days is the Stephen Fuller memorial cup and replica for all age dogs. The cup has attracted some of the fastest dogs in the country over the past few years. other stakes run will be: Oaks trial stake, Reserve dog trial stake, The John Herbert memorial all aged stake, Willie Walsh memorial cup and replica. Friends of Kilflynn Coursing Club stake.
PARENTS AND TODDLERS GROUP
Kilflynn parents & toddlers have returned for the winter – group meet every Monday & Thursday mornings from 11am to 12.30pm in St. Columbus Centre, Kilflynn Village.
We have moms / grannies / minders from Abbeydorney; Kilflynn & Lixnaw.
It’s a great place to meet your neighbours! New parents / minders and there toddlers are always welcome – come along for a coffee and a chat while the toddlers play.
We also arrange outings for toddlers and nights out for the Moms!

COUNTY U-15 HURLING TOURNAMENT:
The Kerry County Board are running with a new under 15 hurling tournament this year starting on Friday 8th October and will run for 3 weeks on Friday evenings 15th and 22nd October Under lights, The finals for North and South Kerry teams will be held in Abbeydorney and this competition will be 9 aside tournament, The Under 15 Tournament will be named after the late Tom Healy, Abbeydorney.
