The mens team bowed out of the Connaught cup after an epic battle with newly crowned Premier A side Fahy Rovers at Moneen. Rory Gallagher had us twice in front as Killala outplayed superleague bound Fahy only for them to score an equaliser late on and force the game into extra time where the hosts superior fitness just got them across the line . final score 3-2 to fahy. hard luck lads , nearly pulled it of.

The u14 boys interest in the div 3 title all but ended in their game away to Clew Bay Utd today . In a game they needed to win against the leaders they were looking good with the score at 2-2 going into the final 10 mins couple of decisions cost them late goals and they ended up going down 5-2. Playing well tho lads keep it up, semi of the trophy still to come.

The u16 boys had a good 7-2 win at home today. Aaron OBoyle was the star of the show grabbing all SEVEN goals . We’ll done Aaron.

Congratulations to our u18 boys team on being crowned division 1 champions today. Winning all their matches to date in fine style they needed a single point a single point against bottom of the table Glenhest Rovers at Courthouse St today to clinch the title but Glenhest failed to show and the trophy comes to Killala . We’ll done to all the squad and to Pete McDonnell and his back room staff. We won it playing great football lads.

Congratulations to the girls u12 coach Leo Teirney on being appointed to the Irish u21 back room team for the upcoming internationals as goalkeeping coach . Well done Leo we are all proud of you.
