Club Notes

November 8, 2018

With Christmas now a distant memory and your New Year’s resolution probably looking as likely to succeed as a government budget, it’s time to revert to what you know, and where better to start than the old reliable committee meeting or senior training

The first committee meeting of the year takes place this Friday (16th) in the Club Pavillion at 9pm.  As it’s both the first of the year, and also the first under new chairman, Pat Faulkner’s control, there is sure to be a lot of important items to be discussed, no seriously there will! All committee members are requested to attend.

Following last week’s well attended player’s meeting, Senior training is kicking of at 9pm on Tuesday 20th in the Community Centre.  A circuit training schedule will be assigned to all players at the meeting for the opening section of the season ahead of the start of the season in early March.

New members are most welcome to get involved and we would be delighted to see some new faces both on and off the field.  So, whether you are new to the area with no connection to the club, and just looking to get involved or whether you have drifted away from the club in recent years, come on back and make a New Year’s resolution worth keeping. Come on, it’s not as if staying at home and watching Prime Time is gonna put a smile on your face!
