Bingo
 
The Bingo Jackpot survived again on Sunday night and rises to €7,900 in 45 calls or less for next Sunday night. Bingo commences at 8pm every Sunday night with over €12,000 in prizes on offer.
 
Underage Awards
 
A very successful underage awards night was held last Saturday night in the pavilion. A large crowd attended the event which saw awards presented to boys & girls across all age groups in hurling and football. Full report to appear in next weeks paper.
 
Underage training
 
Some teams are already up and running for 2011. U8 & U10 Indoor hurling is on each Monday evening at 6.30pm in St Mary’s Secondary Hall. U6 Hurling on Friday evening at 6pm again in St Mary’s. U12 Hurling is on Wed evening at 7pm on the astro-turf beside the Secondary School and on Fri evening at 7pm in St Mary’s hall.
 
 Edenderry GAA Social Night
 
Sat 12th Feb is a date for your diary as Edenderry GAA will host a Social evening in Byrnes Oakwood Inn from 9pm. Live music will be provided by Elvis aka Greg Traynor and other local artists and hot food will be served. Special Valentines spot prizes will be on offer on the night. So come along and enjoy an evening with friends. Free entry.

Think you know your sport? Prove it by entering the Edenderry GAA league on www.sportsprophet.ie and attempt to correctly predict the outcome of 25 sporting events during 2011. Club will run a league with regular updates of the leaderboard throughout the year. Cash prizes to be won.
 
Kits for Phones
 
Drop in your old unwanted mobile phone to Edenderry GAA and help raise funds for the Jack & Jill Foundation while earning a new set of jerseys for one of our underage teams. Collection box in GAA pavilion and new dressing rooms.
 
Football/Hurling

Club membership 2011
 
Membership for 2011 has been left unchanged as follows:
 
Adult Player         €50
Non player           €20
Under 18             €20
Family                 €50 (includes 2 Adults & all children U18)
OAP                    €5
 
Membership can be paid to any committee member and all membership must be paid prior to first competitive game or by March 31 2011.
 
Pavillion
 
The recently upgraded pavillion hall is available for all functions, for further enquires contact Peader 0862331449.
 
 
Schools football
 
Best wishes to the St Mary’s secondary school who play in the Leinster Senior ‘A’ Colleges quarter final against Good Counsel of Wexford. The game is being played on Sat 5th Feb at a Carlow venue. Time and venue not arranged as yet.
 
Condolences
 
Edenderry GAA wish to express their deepest sympathy to the Reilly family Ticknevin, the Ryan family, Cloncannon and the Direen family, Geashill on their recent sad bereavements.
