Club Notes 21/04/14

Kilmeaden Pharmacy
Kilmeaden Pharmacy have kindly sponsored a set of Jersys for our adult teams. Local sponsorship of our teams and club is very important and Ballyduff Lower GAA is very grateful.
 
Eastern Hurling League
Our junior hurlers got the league off to a winning start with a victory over Fenor/Kill on Thursday 17th April. Ballyduff Lower 4-14 Fenor 1-07. Our next game is on Saturday 26th April in Tom Cheasty Park against Butlerstown at 6.30. Adult training continues Tuesday at 6.30.  

Deise Draw 

Tickets now on sale for the 2014 deise draw from our draw co-ordinator John Stephenson or any club members. First draw takes place on the 25th April. Tickets are €10 per month or €90 for 10 draws.
 

U10 Hurling – Ballyduff 6-4 Clonea 3-3

Our U10s travelled up to Clonea on Wednesday evening to play their first game of the season. Clonea started stronger and went a goal up early in the game. Our lads settled in the 2nd quarter and the teams went in level at half-time – 2 goals and a point each. In the second half we improved and finished stronger. Panel: Gavin Daly, Luke Gooney, Cormac Bolger, Jack O'Donnell, Rory Dobynn, Alex Reade, AJ Bowman, Billy Cuddihy. Our U12's beat Tramore also this week in the u12 league.

 
U11 Hurling City League

Due to the Ballyduff Youth Drama next Friday our 2nd round match away to St Mary's has been rearranged to take place next Tuesday at 6.30pm in Kill. All the best to the drama group. 

Membership

Membership subscriptions are the most important fundraiser for our club. Can anyone that hasn't registered yet please do so. Please see your coach or any committee member.
