Club Notes 2nd Nov 2007

We were well beaten by our neighbours Colmcille (1 – 8 to 0 – 3) in the semi final of the Leader Cup in Parc NaGael on Sunday last. Well done to Colmcille on their deserved victory and we wish them the best of luck in the Leader Cup final next weekend. The club would like to thank all the stewards you carried out a magnificent job on the day and also to all our supporters who braved the bad weather conditions. The next outing for our seniors will be the first round of the Leinster Club championship in two weeks time (Nov 11^th) in Newbridge versus Moorefield, a vast improvement will be required if we are to figure in this game. The club would like to thank all those who supported our function in The Breffni Arms on Sunday night and also to remind everyone that tickets for our development draw are currently on sale from any club executive or member, cost €50 with a prize fund of €30,000.
