Team Black had to work very hard at home on Wednesday last to record an 11 scores to 6 victory over Milltownpass in the North Westmeath League. Panel: Adam Conneely, Mark Conneely, Cathal Dagg, Eoghan Egerton, Paul Flynn, Leon Gilgan, Evan Harte, Stephen Haugh, Joshua Heneghan, Euan Lagan, Luke Maguire, David Markey, Liam Moran, Mark Nugent, Hugh O’Connor, Jake Quinn, Adam Smith, Liam Smyth, Jack Walsh, Gary Wynne, Stephen Wynne. Matches will continue weekly throughout the summer with Team Amber and Team Black alternating as required. Challenge matches will also be arranged where both panels will be involved. Our fixture list on our www.teamer.net page is updated regularly and text messages will issued as usual. Anyone not receiving these texts should contact any of the under 10 mentors.

Club Gear including Togs and Socks can be purchased or ordered at underage training on Fridays. New this year are football gloves with The Downs crest special introductory price €8 for underage and €12 for adult sizes. New polo’s, tee-shirts and wind-cheaters will be available shortly. 

 

Our new Walking Track is now open for use. For insurance purposes each person who uses the walking track must be a member of The Downs GAA. Club. Annual membership can be paid to any club officer.

The Under 12 team travelled to Rochfordbridge on Tuesday last and at the end of an exciting and competitive game were unlucky to lose by a goal.
