Division 1 Under 14
Last week we played another two Div 1 games previously postponed, on Thursday night we took on Delvin/St Pauls away. We started the game well and went into a commanding lead in difficult conditions for both teams. We held onto this lead throughout the game and finished well to earn the two points.
On Saturday we played Mullingar Shamrocks at home, playing against the wind in the first half we went into the break trailing by a few points. In the second half we came out and put some fine points over but also missed a lot of opportunities to close out the game. Credit to Mullingar Shamrocks they kept plugging away scoring two late goals to share the spoils. Our league run has been very good losing only one game and we now look forward to Division 1 football in the championship.
