Night at the Dogs
Our annual night at the dogs in on Saturday 3rd November, this is a great opportunity for a social night out for all the club members and families, with the busy times of games and coaching finished. We currently have over 300 subscribers but would like to extend it further to ensure all our supporters are kept up to date. Bingo continues every Friday at 8.30, come along and brings a friend for an enjoyable night’s entertainment.

THE DOWNS COMMUNITY GAMES
A new committee was formed for the Downs Community Games.   The officers are as follows: Chairperson:  Jody Moran; Secretary: Ollie Cassidy; Ass. Secretary: Dolores Duncan; Treasurer: Lorcan Sleator; PRO: Martina Rhatigan; Games Director: Ciaran Conneely; Child Officer: Liz Conneely.  We also welcome all the new members to the committee.   We are straight to work with chess fromU.12 to U.16 and draughts from U.10 to U.14 for boys and girls commencing on Friday 26th Oct next at 7.00 p.m. at The Downs School.  Parents are very welcome to help out.
 
The Downs Ladies Football
 On Saturday we are running the inaugural Mary Wynne under 15 tournament. The winners will be presented with the Mary Wynne memorial cup. Please come along and support the teams,  check facebook and website for  times and competing teams.
 
Clothes
The Ladies Football are collecting bags of clothes as a fundraiser, so you can now de- clutter and help the club raise funds. Bags of clothes can be left with any team coach or committee member or in The Shop. Please ask family, neighbours, friend and co-workers to fill a bag.
