Results
The under 12 boys sponsored by Lagan Cement and TEL made the short journey to Lakepoint Park on Wednesday last to play St. Loman’s in round 2 of the league. Both clubs fielded 2 x 11 aside teams and produced good football throughout despite the warm weather and hard surface. Each club won a game apiece but the home side edged the overall spoils on aggregate scores. Well done to all 30 lads who played their part, working very hard from start to finish. Panel: Enda O’Rourke, Daragh Monaghan, Luke Maguire, Joseph Moran, Liam Faulkner, Jordan Raleigh Doyle, Matthew Cunningham, Donal Coughlan, Eanna Burke, Stephen Wynne, David Keeneghan, Keith Carroll, Taylor Daly, Colin Smyth, Trevor Martin, Paul Flynn, Jonathan Lynam, Darren Shaw, Michael Drury, Mark McCann, Joseph Robson, Dylan Hunt, Jack Carroll, Conor Gavin, Oisin Murphy, Ryan Mannering, Cathal Faulkner, Euan Lagan, Darren Shaw, Luke Smith. The next league fixture is scheduled for Wednesday 11th May away to Shandonagh.
Well done to the under 12s who played their part in the recent official opening of the new stand. It was great for them to meet GAA President Mr Christy Cooney who took time to speak to the lads, encouraging them to continue taking great pride in wearing the club jersey.
