On Saturday our under 16 team were rewarded with the champion title following an excellent display of football. Coming from 1:3 to 0:0 down The Downs went in at halftime with a slight advantage. The second half saw The Downs dominate the scoring to emerge worthy winners. Well done to the players and coaches on their win a just reward for your efforts during the year.

The under 14 team played Moate away on Sunday in the semi-final conceding goals in the first half The Downs had it all to do in the second half, putting in a tremendous effort The Downs reduced the difference to four points midway through the half but Moate were able to keep ahead and proceed to the final Thanks to the players and coaches for their commitment during the year.
Underage Coaching Underage training finished on Saturday, thanks to all the coaches of the U8s, U10s, U 12s and the nursery for our youngest players. Thanks to you the parents for your support during the year.
Clothes Collection The Ladies Football are collecting bags of clothes as a fundraiser, so you can now de- clutter and help the club raise funds. Bags of clothes can be left with any team coach or committee member or in The Shop. Please ask family, neighbours, friend and co-workers to fill a bag.
