The senior footballers are organising a table quiz on Friday night at 10.15pm after bingo so put a team together and come along for an enjoyable night.
Ladies Football
On Saturday night we had one of our most enjoyable nights in the Downs when we presented medals to75 girls over four teams- under 12B championship winners, under 14B championship winners, under 16A finalist and junior league winners. A large attendance of parents and supporters game along to lend their support and enjoy the night. The medals were presented by Westmeath goalkeeper and former all star Gary Connaughton who was very generous with his time and delivered words of wisdom to the players. The presentation was followed by refreshments and a disco. Thanks to Catriona Brennan who organised the food and to Bernie Connelly who supplied a team photo for each player.
Ladies Football AGM
Our AGM is on Friday evening @ 7.30 all parents and adult players are invited to come along.
