The intermediate team played St. Pats in the intermediate championship relegation play off in Kent Park on Saturday night. In a closely fought contest St. Pats eventually ran out winners on a score of 2-10 to 0-10 thanks largely to a goal in either half. The team on duty was T. McMahon, S. O’Hara, M. McDermott, S. Carroll, T. Quinn, A. Kelly, D. Bergin, F. Gaughan, T. Roddy, P. Fenton, M. Savage, C. Murphy, P. Gaughan, R. Hennessy and R. O’Grady.

On Sunday afternoon the hurlers played Western Gaels in the first round of the senior hurling championship. In the end Western Gaels ran out easy winners. The team was G. Cadden, C. Burns, M. McDermott, C. Scanlon, C. Gillen, C. O’Mahony, D. Bergin, K. Cawley, N. Cadden, P. Gaughan, L. Cadden, D. Cassidy, B. Henry, C. Brenan and J. Hanley.

On Sunday morning had a challenge match against Glencar Manorhamilton in preparation for the quarter final of the senior championship. In a competitive match Coolera Strandhill ran out easy winners.

The numbers drawn in the lotto were 15, 18, 23 and 25. There was no winner of the jackpot. There were two match three winners, Peter Chambers, Tully and Julie Feehily, Ocean Wave, Ailesbury. Next week draw is worth 5800 euro and takes place in The Strand. Barry Doyle’s team is on duty.
