On the field of play, the senior team were defeated by Dromard on Sunday last. We got off to a very bad start and trailed at one stage by 11 points. However, a very spirited comeback in the second half saw the margin reduced to 3, before Dromard got a vital towards the end of the game. The game finished Colmcille 0-9 Dromard 2-10.

Our senior next game is against Longford Slashers on Friday evening next in Michael Fay Park at 8 o clock followed in the next few weeks by games against the Gaels, Ardagh and Sean Connollys.
The Division 3 team were out the evening before against Clonguish and came away from the park with a one point win. Final score, Colmcille 0-6 Clonguish 0-5.
