In the second group game in the Junior B Championship played last Friday evening, we were defeated by Moydow on a scoreline of Moydow 1-13 Colmcille 1-9. We now play the last game in the group against St Columbas on Monday evening next at 7.30 in Fr McGee Park.

We would like to congratulate JP Sheridan, Aughamore Lr who was the winner of last weekends lotto jackpot of €4,800 (No’s: 7, 10, 19, 20) . Once again, our lotto jackpot has been won and we would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who continually support and play the lotto on a weekly and yearly basis.

Its back to Pearse Park next Saturday evening as we take on Clonguish in the Senior Championship quarter final. Kick off is 6pm.

Our minor amalgamation
Colmcille/Clonbroney were well beaten by Granard/Ballymore on Monday
3rd in the semi-final of the B Championship. The final score in this game
was Granard/Ballymore 4-14, Colmcille/Clonbroney 1-11. Our U 13’s
travelled to Mostrim on Friday evening last where we played Wolfe Tones
in this new competition and we had a good win in this game.
Training for the U/13’s will continue as arranged by the managers.
Our juvenile amalgamation had a challenge game also on Friday evening last
against Carrigallen in Carrigallen and we were well beaten in this match.
The underage blitz’s appear to be over for this season and thanks to all who
helped out at all these games. The Fr. Manning Cup U/16 Football
Tournament gets underway on Wednesday 12th in Longford Slashers. This will
be held on a blitz basis and we wish the Longford team and our
representatives on the panel Barry, Mark, Ross and Conor the best of
luck in these games. The final of this will be held on Wednesday 19th
August. Our juvenile amalgamation are due to be playing against St.
Vincents in the semi-final of the B Championship on Sunday next 16th
August and hopefully we get a good result in that game. Please check
fixtures for confirmation of this game. We also want to wish our Seniors
the best of luck on Saturday evening next when they play Clonguish in the
quarter finals of the senior championship.
